JNTC Unit HUB Senior LAN Manager for the 3^rd Infantry Division, Ft Stewart, GA     10/2006 –2/2009

oOversaw the day to day operations of the HUB.

oTrained and supervised the operators responsible for operating and troubleshooting the Baseband and Satellite trucks that make up the HUB.

oSet up,  trained, and supervised the entire 3^rd Infantry division VOIP phone network

oSetup, trained, and supervised the establishment of the 3^rd Infantry divisions DSN phone network.

oAssisted distant end operators in troubleshooting their systems.

oEstablished COMSEC account and maintained proper COMSEC procedures for the Platoon.  Picked up COMSEC, conducted COMSEC changeover for the division, and destroyed COMSEC at the end of each cycle.

oIdentified and repaired or replaced defective equipment.

oDeployed with the HUB to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom V.

 

JNTC Unit HUB Operator for the 3^rd Infantry Division, Ft Stewart, GA      10/2005 – 1/2006

oTrained on and deployed to Camp Victory, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom III with the Army’s first JNTC Unit HUB in only three months time.

oSet up and operated the 3^rd Infantry Division’s entire TDMA satellite network.  Programmed and power balanced all terminals in the system. 

oEstablished and power balanced all links in the 3ID’s FDMA satellite network.

oMonitored and troubleshot all links in the Baseband truck.

oIdentified and repaired or replaced defective equipment.

oPrepared and gave oral reports to our network operations on the status of our network/equipment and any issues that may have arisen.
